Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Scene Study, LLC's Services (the "Services"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Services. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian may create an account on your behalf if you are at least 16.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

• We offer free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe.
• Subscriptions are non-refundable, but may be canceled at any time. Your service will continue until the end of the billing cycle.
• Support and billing questions can be sent to support@scenestudy.ai.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (e.g., scripts, PDFs). By uploading, you grant Scene Study a limited license to host, process, and display your content for the purpose of operating the Services. We will not use your content for purposes outside the Services.

5. AI Disclaimer

The Services may use artificial intelligence. AI-generated outputs may contain errors, biases, or inappropriate content. You agree that Scene Study is not responsible or liable for any AI-generated content or your reliance on it.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use the Services for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the Services.
• Upload content you do not own or have rights to.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without limitation, for violating the Terms. You may cancel your account at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including software, branding, and design, are owned by Scene Study. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the Services.

9. Publicity

You agree that Scene Study may reference your name and use your logo in marketing materials, unless you opt out by contacting us.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scene Study will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid to us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
